Iran Mines Training and Extraction Services Company (IMTESco.) or in brief  Iran Mines Extraction Company (IMEco.), was founded in 1988 and started its activities as the first permitted private company -after the Islamic Revolution of Iran- for using  commercial explosive materials in mines and construction projects to executing various types of rock blasting operations and related activities, such as the supply, transport, store-keeping and construction of explosive magazines in the country, and after a while was able to send a number of his qualified staffs to Sweden and succeeded in obtaining the exclusive representation of (Swedish company) Nitro Nobel ab. in Iran.

In addition to achieving the initial goals, the company, with using of its experienced and expert forces, and taking advantage of the facilities and technologies of the day, has gradually been able to participate in the design and implementation of various sectors of the civil projects and mining activities of the country, including leveling, tunneling and trenching in road and dam construction, seismic exploration in oil fields, excavation and mining in open pit and underground mines.

At the present time, considering the proud history of the past and looking at the future bright horizon, as one of the most prestigious companies in the field of related activities, furthermore that is still ready to provide engineering services for the development of the country, as well as seeking to export mineral and rock blasting engineering services and related technologies to the world markets and the region countries.
